#5 Elect local government that supports rezoning, especially in Redondo
We encourage you to help elect a future City council that supports rezoning the AES Redondo Power Plant area.
With the exception of Redondo Councilman Bill Brand, Redondo City Officials are currently pro Power Plant AND pro Desalination Plant.
Councilmember Diels, who accepted campaign funds from AES, is not concerned about them rebuilding. He is quoted as saying "there are no harbor views worth protecting."
Is this the legacy we want for Redondo and the South Bay?
